PLAY BEFORE PAY
The game must be worth playing without a financial incentive.
CHICKENPOPChickenPop is building a competitive, browser-native fighting game with server-authoritative multiplayer and a playful identity. This working whitepaper records the project thesis and phased plan. It is not investment advice, a token offer, or a promise of rewards.
WORKING DRAFT · 22 SEPTEMBER 2026
Many blockchain games start with an economy and search for a game later. ChickenPop takes the opposite route: make the fight responsive, understandable, replayable, and fair; earn a real player community; then evaluate whether any digital ownership or reward layer genuinely improves the experience.
The brand is intentionally meme-friendly, but the operating standard is serious: clear rules, honest status labels, explicit player consent, server-validated competition, and no guaranteed-return language.
The game must be worth playing without a financial incentive.
Competitive outcomes come from authoritative systems, not client claims.
Live, planned, and conditional features must be labeled honestly.
Progression should reward mastery and participation without creating pay-to-win pressure.
ChickenPop combines two complementary modes. Practice offers an AI environment for learning without rating or Energy consequences. Ranked pairs two eligible players into a private server-hosted room and is designed around first-to-two round wins.
The intended architecture separates presentation from authority. Clients render the match and submit player actions; the backend validates eligible actions and owns consequential state. Clients do not directly declare winners, losses, ratings, Energy deductions, or rewards.
Unique rooms isolate concurrent 1v1 matches and track connections, readiness, rounds, timestamps, disconnects, and final status.
Temporary network loss receives a defined reconnect window before a server-side forfeit may be processed.
Idempotent completion protects against duplicate result processing and repeated client submissions.
Eligibility checks prevent self-matching, duplicate queue entries, simultaneous active matches, and zero-Energy queue entry.
The supplied community-token contract address is publicly displayed on the main website for independent verification. Its existence does not mean game rewards are active or guaranteed. Before any reward system launches, ChickenPop intends to require:
No allocation, emission schedule, token price, yield, or launch date is asserted in this working paper.
Combat polish, Practice AI, Ranked rooms, account profiles, mobile controls, Energy, match history, reconnection, rematch consent, and reliability.
Ratings, leaderboard, weekly ladder, referrals, seasons, divisions, moderation, stronger matchmaking, and transparent rules.
Replayable evidence, deeper server validation, reporting, anti-cheat, load testing, resilient hosting, operations, and incident response.
Only after prior phases and formal review: auditable reward logic and possible Solana settlement with published eligibility and risk controls.
ChickenPop is under active development. Multiplayer services may be interrupted; mechanics and rules may change; security controls may fail; wallet and network providers are third parties; digital assets can be volatile; regulations may affect feature availability; and planned work may be delayed or cancelled. Players should never share seed phrases or assume that gameplay creates financial value.
